We hope to see you today at 2:00 p.m. in the Elkin Hall Great Room for an Open Forum with the chair of our Middle States Commission Visiting Team, Peter Nwosu.

This Open Forum is part of IUP’s work toward reaffirmation of accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Maintaining ongoing accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education is one of the vitally important ways IUP serves students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the community.

Accreditation is a required step for IUP students to receive federal grants and student loans, facilitates student credit transfer, and can be required for some graduate schools and employees considering IUP graduates.

Accreditation also demonstrates external validation that IUP upholds the MSCHE Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation in all respects—academic programs, faculty and staff expertise, campus services, finances, governance, and more.

Light refreshments will be served. No RSVP is required for this session.

We look forward to seeing you today.
