On behalf of the Division of Student Affairs, and especially the team in IUP’s Multicultural Center in Elkin Hall, please accept our sincere appreciation for your active and thoughtful collaboration, resulting in an incredibly busy and productive semester for students and the IUP community. This fall, the staff and students in Elkin Hall have hosted programs, presentations, and gatherings all designed to enrich the lives of students, develop leadership skills, and build a greater sense of community.
We are proud to recognize that a great number of these events were designed and directed by our outstanding student leaders, drawing on the assistance of IUP colleagues and the advice and expertise of the professionals in the Multicultural Center. As students, you teach us a great deal about what you want and need from us, and we continue to focus on your success as we work to refine and improve the programs and services we offer to you. Our 10 Graduate Assistants from various graduate degree programs have been instrumental in this important work.
As we look forward to the spring semester of initiatives and programs, and as you plan for next semester, we want to highlight the staff and services located in Elkin Hall so you will know who, and what resources, are available to you.
