Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, IUP Day has been transformed into a virtual experience this year. Student organizations are currently updating their Crimson Connect pages and uploading videos to Flipgrid to provide information about how you can join them this semester.
Starting at noon on Friday, September 18, students will be able to access all the videos uploaded onto Flipgrid. Students will also be able to check out student organizations' pages on Crimson Connect to see upcoming events that groups are hosting. Additionally, MCSLE staff will be available Friday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom to help discuss any questions students may have about getting involved.
Traditionally, IUP Day allows for recognized student organizations to connect with new and returning students. For organizations it serves as an opportunity to increase awareness of its mission and potentially its membership base. As a result, students gain a clear sense of the IUP community and the opportunities available through the recognized campus organizations, clubs, and activities.
An email will be sent to students later this week with additional information and links for connection. Anyone with questions may contact Kevin Foster at kfoster@iup.edu or Jenna Keppel at cgbcc@iup.edu.
