Provost Announces New Structure for University College

IUP Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Timothy Moerland has announced the next step in the evolution of the University College. Programs in the University College, several additional student support services, and the University Libraries will be joining together as the University College.

Spring 2020 Crimson Common Hours

There are 12 workshops scheduled for this semester focusing on a variety of topics to help students make the most of their college experience. The University College staff and peer mentors are prepared to help you with note-taking skills, ways to improve your study skills, finding on-campus employment, set goals, and get ready for summer.

Fall 2019 Crimson Common Hours

The fall Crimson Common Hours are coming to an end with this week’s workshop, “Managing Stress,” as the last for the semester. Crimson Common Hours will resume on January 23, 2020.

University College Student to Offer Remarks During University College Ribbon Cutting Event

When Angaziya Malenge delivers her remarks at the ribbon cutting for IUP’s University College on August 27 at 9:00 a.m., she’ll be speaking from experience. Malenge, a sophomore sociology human services major from Pittsburgh, part of the first class of University College explorers in fall 2018, is the student speaker for the ribbon cutting event, which is free and open to all.
