Open Terms for Undergraduate Student Applicants
We want to make sure you understand the term you want to start. The calendar can look a little different at colleges, so here is some information to help you choose the right one.
Fall 2025
Application is open July 1, 2024
Last day to apply is August 27, 2025
Tuition Deposit due by May 1, 2025*
Spring 2026
Application opens April 1, 2025
Last day to apply is January 22, 2026
Tuition deposit due by November 1, 2025*
Fall 2026
Application opens July 1, 2025
Last day to apply is August 26, 2026
Tuition deposit due by May 1, 2026*
Future Terms
If you intend to start at IUP during a term that is not currently open for application, please do not submit an application yet. Wait for the appropriate term application to be open. This will ensure that you do not have to complete a second application for the correct term.
- Spring 2026 applications will open April 2025.
- Fall 2026 applications will open July 2025.
- If you are a high school junior during the 2024–25 school year, this will most likely be the term you use. Please wait to apply until July 2025.
*Submitting your deposit by this date guarantees your admissions offer and on-campus housing and allows you to complete your enrollment steps within the optimal time frame. Some majors may not be able to accept deposits after that date if the programs are full. We continue to accept tuition deposits after those dates, space permitting.
