Get rewarded for your academic achievement!
When applying to IUP, you’re considered for one of our four-year renewable IUP scholarships—with no additional application required. The award amounts are determined based on your cumulative high school GPA at the time of admission. Remember, an SAT/ACT score isn’t required for admission or to be eligible for IUP scholarships, so no worries if you haven’t taken them.
For transfer students, your award amount will be determined by the cumulative college GPA from all institutions that you have attended after graduating high school.
Our biggest tip? Don’t wait to apply for admission! Submit your application by May 15 for scholarship consideration.

If you meet the qualifications to receive an IUP scholarship, you will be able to view your scholarship award in the admissions portal approximately 15 minutes AFTER you view your acceptance letter. Please note that you must view your acceptance letter before the scholarship award will appear in the portal! Half of the scholarship will be applied to your student account in your first semester. The second half will be applied the following semester.
Your scholarship will be renewed each year until you have earned your first bachelor’s degree, which means you will receive your scholarship for a total of eight continuous semesters (fall and spring) as long as you are making satisfactory academic progress, enrolled on a full-time basis (at least 12 credits per semester), and have no lapses in your enrollment at IUP.
IUP scholarships are made possible by the generous support of alumni and friends of IUP and IUP’s commitment to our students’ success.
