Kipp Gallery

Kipp Gallery and the Kipp Gallery Annex, located in Sprowls Hall, offer a variety of art exhibits throughout the year including touring exhibits, invitationals, and works by advanced students in the Department of Art and Design.

Other exhibits and art events are offered by the University Museum.

October 23–December 5 in the Kipp Gallery

Kipp Gallery welcomes Delanie Jenkins. This exhibition features printmaking processes centered around repetition and iteration, used to reinterpret motifs, putting them in new, strange, and imaginary contexts. 

Reception October 24, 5:00–6:30 p.m. Refreshments provided. 

Artist Talk November 12, 5:00–6:30 p.m. with talk beginning at 5:30. Refreshments provided.

Call for Entries

The Kipp and Annex galleries are accepting exhibition proposals for the 2025–26 exhibition calendar. National and regional artists with solo or group proposals are welcome. All media are considered. 

To enter, send an email to Kimberlyn Bloise, Gallery Director, at kbloise@iup.edu with a single pdf containing the following: 

• Ten images with accompanying image list (title, media, dimensions, year)
• Description of proposed body of work
• CV

The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 31, 2025. All submissions will be reviewed by the Gallery Committee. The Gallery Committee will determine in which gallery each selected artist will exhibit. 

• Exhibitors in the Kipp Gallery receive an honorarium of $750 and are expected to give a talk on their work. The floor plan is below. 
• Exhibitors in the Annex Gallery receive an honorarium of $350. The floor plan is below. 

All gallery shows will have an artist reception with refreshments. Printed posters and postcards will be provided. 

Pedestals will be provided by the gallery for the display of three-dimensional work. TV monitors and projectors are available for digital displays.
