School of Graduate Studies and Research
The School of Graduate Studies and Research oversees all graduate education and research activity throughout our academic colleges, covering 38 master’s programs, 14 doctoral programs, and 13 graduate-level certificates. IUP is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a doctoral university with high research activity.
University College
The University College is a central resource for academic help and guides students across the university who are choosing a major. It guides new students who have not yet chosen their major to make a smooth transition to college classes while exploring the many majors and academic offerings the university has to offer.
Cook Honors College
Ready to distinguish yourself? The IUP Honors College welcomes all majors and all walks of life. The more diverse viewpoints, the better. You’ll live among your peers and debate, and exchange ideas in small classes. All Cook Honors College students receive scholarships.
