Jodie Seybold, MS, RD, LDN, faculty and Dietetic Internship director in the Department of Food and Nutrition, was asked by Zippia to provide her expert opinion on the state of the job market for recent nutrition graduates during this uncertain economic climate.
The faculty and staff of the Department of Food and Nutrition will honor the Class of 2020 with a virtual celebration on Saturday, May 9, at 9:00 a.m. Both BS and MS graduates will be recognized for all of their hard work and accomplishments. Family members have also been invited to extend their congratulations.
The Department of Food and Nutrition has partnered with Aramark to present the Healthy Family Meals Project. For four weeks, beginning March 2, Community Nutrition students and dietetic interns will sit down for a family meal to talk to the IUP community. Everyone is welcome, no sign-ups required!
Pao Ying Hsiao and Nicole Clark, Department of Food and Nutrition, along with Johanna Boothby of the Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, recently published “Developing an Interprofessional Simulation with Nursing, Nutrition, and Speech-language Pathology Students” in Teaching and Learning in Nursing.
The Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics at IUP have organized several events to celebrate National Nutrition Month in March, including a smoothie sale, the Crock-Pot Cook-Off competition, and a program with a nationally known speaker.
