The IUP Police Academy is now providing the 40-hour (pass/fail) SSP program. This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. It will be offered online once per month, throughout the year.

The program is spread out over two-and-a-half weeks to make it a self-paced training that fits into most work and home lifestyles. Successful completion requires students to read all required material, pass unit quizzes, and deliver a presentation over Zoom to the instructor of the course. Students will receive a letter of completion upon passing the program. Students will receive a certificate upon completion of the course that will satisfy the Act 67 requirement.
