The Cybersecurity Program at IUP, along with the Institute for Cyber Security, has established a Cybersecurity Industry Advisory Board (CIAB) to regularly review our offerings and provide recommendations on how we can improve the cybersecurity curriculum so that our graduates will better meet the needs of the industry. CIAB board members are cybersecurity experts who are leaders on various sectors of the industry. CIAB members, along with IUP cybersecurity faculty, hold one meeting every academic semester to review the cybersecurity curriculum and discuss recommendations for improvements.

CIAB Members

The IUP CIAB members and their areas of expertise are listed below:

  • Robert Buckingham: Senior Director Information Systems Presbyterian SeniorCare Network and Vice President InfraGard
  • Kevin Dodds: CSO at S&T Bank. Numerous Security, compliance, and criminology backgrounds. Previous experience of NCIS
  • Tom Dugas (CIAB Vice Chair): Assistant Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Duquesne University. Network security awareness, cybersecurity awareness and strategy. Speaks and talks nationally on cybersecurity
  • Dom Glavach (CIAB Chair): Chief Security Officer and Chief Strategist at Cyber SN: Technology SaaS. General defense of information and consulting firm leadership. Specializing with research in exploitation and vehicle security (offensive security)
  • Nigel Wright: Technical Program Manager, Uber
