The IUP Haven Project will hold training for volunteers who would like to help with RAINN Day and with September events.
What is RAINN Day and the Red Zone?
- RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) Day is IUP's way of supporting this organizations effort to educate campuses, support survivors, and take a stand against sexual assault.
- The Red Zone is the period of time between the beginning of the fall semester and Thanksgiving break when first-year students are at the highest risk of encountering sexual violence.
Join us to learn about sexual violence, the Red Zone, and how you can get involved to make our campus and community safer.
- When: Thursday, September 2, 2021
- Location: Ruddock Hall, room G-12
- Time: 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
IUP RAINN Day 2021 is scheduled to be on Wednesday, September 22 in the Oak Grove (weather permitting).
