Haven Project will host SETpoint FORCE: A Self-Defense and Empowerment Workshop.
This empowerment-based self-defense training provides powerful and preventative tools for reducing sexual and physical assault for individuals at an increased risk of gender-based violence, including women and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Join us for this one-part four-hour workshop. Participants will learn and practice skills in:
- Situational awareness
- Boundary-setting
- Physical resistance techniques
- Bystander intervention
Face coverings are required indoors at all times on IUP's campus.

- Tuesday, October 19, or Monday, November 8
- 5:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
