The Haven Project invites you to experience the Silent Witness Display.
A silent witness is a silhouette that bears the name and true story of an adult or child that was killed by domestic violence. We must commit to be their voices now that they can no longer speak for themselves.
The display is available:
- October 18 - 22 in the Leonard Hall Lobby (formerly HSS)
- October 22 - 29 in the Stapleton Library
Trigger Warning: Stories contain descriptive themes of sexual and domestic violence, including child abuse. Please do not read the stories if such topics trigger you or make you upset.
Statistic: 72% of all murder-suicides involve an intimate partner; 94% of the victims of these murder suicides are female - NCADV
Sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking are difficult topics. You are not alone. Help is available.
