Victims and survivors of sexual—or other forms of—violence are invited to come and design a shirt, all of which will be anonymously displayed as part of Take Back the Night to raise awareness and show support for people who have experienced these crimes.

  • When: Tuesday, March 29, 2022
  • Time: 5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
  • Location:  Suites on Maple East, room G-18

The purpose of the project is to increase awareness of the impact of violence, to honor a survivor’s strength to continue, and to provide another avenue for them to courageously break the silence that often surrounds their experience.

This workshop is only for victims and survivors of sexual, dating/domestic, or gender-based violence. It is anonymous. All materials will be provided.

For more information, email haven-project@iup.edu.

Shirt Kits Available

If you can't make the workshop, kits will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from  Tuesday, March 29, to Friday, April 1, at the Suites on Maple East ground floor front desk. All materials will be provided. (Once completed, please return materials to the same location.)
