IUP's Office of International Education serves as an umbrella for the university's many international initiatives, programs, and events. We have more than 950 students at IUP from 56 different countries.

Mission

The Office of International Education is the primary catalyst for Indiana University of Pennsylvania's international initiatives. The office proactively facilitates, promotes, and organizes the international programs, events, support, and initiatives to more fully diversify IUP and local Western Pennsylvania communities.

The Office of International Education:

  • Offers services and programs that help international students, scholars, visitors, and faculty adjust to life in the United States
  • Initiates, fosters, and maintains a variety of international exchange and education abroad programs for all students
  • Sponsors and organizes a variety of activities and programs to internationalize the campus and broader community
  • Facilitates deeper internationalization efforts across campus.
