Francis "Slim" Owen Lamberson (August 27, 1906-January 16, 2000) was the son of Frank and Mary Owen Lamberson. He was born in Clymer, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Indiana State Teachers College in 1930 with a degree in Junior High School Curriculum.
Louise Fink Stump Lamberson (March 12, 1912-October 13, 2001) was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William and Louella Fink Stump. She graduated from Indiana State Teachers College in 1931 with a degree in Elementary Curriculum.
Francis Lamberson taught school in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and they later lived in Beaver, Pennsylvania, before retiring and spending part of the year in Florida. They are buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Indiana, Pennsylvania. They created the Francis and Louise Lamberson Endowment at Indiana University of Pennsylvania to support the IUP Libraries.
