This workshop details the collision of social trends, family patterns, and common human tendancies which has created a national epidemic of overeating and obesity. We will identify the emotional forces that make control with food so elusive for so many, as well as the hidden consequences of chronic overeating which can be even more damaging than excessive weight. We will introduce specific factors that are necessary to ensure sustainable, enjoyable recovery with food.
