This workshop will review the current neurobiology of ADHD, changes in the diagnostic nomenclature from DSM-IV to DSM-5, and will discuss the best evidenced based practices for the management of ADHD across the lifespan.

Goals and Objectives

By the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. learn about the current neurobiology of ADHD;
  2. understand the key diagnostic changes in DSM-5 for ADHD;
  3. review effective and non-effective interventions for ADHD.
