De-Stress Activities and Services

Finals can be a stressful time, but there are ways to ease the anxious moments as you work hard to wrap up the semester. You can join several in-person events through the Center for Health and Well-Being’s De-Stress Fest. Some other options to alleviate stress are to take a walk, listen to music, or talk to a supportive friend or family member.

If it gets to be too much, there are walk-in hours at the Counseling Center, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., where you can talk to someone confidentially.

  • The Counseling Center’s regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
  • A crisis line is in place, should you need after-hours help. Call 1-877-333-2470.
  • Your health comes first. Take care of yourself.

While supplies last, the flu vaccine will be administered to interested students during De-Stress Fest from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10.

Don’t forget to check out the activities being planned by your residence assistants or student organizations promoted on Crimson Connect.
