As you will recall, last summer Gerald Intemann announced that he does not wish to serve as provost beyond June 2013 and asked that I begin the search for a new provost after the appointment of a new president. In view of this request, and after consultation with Michael Driscoll, president-designate, I have appointed a search committee that will begin its work shortly.
The committee will begin its work soon, with the expectation of bringing candidates to campus shortly after Dr. Driscoll takes office. The committee will select a search firm to assist it in its work.
