Students who graduated in May, August, or December 2023, or who have finished their project and will graduate in May 2024, are eligible to be nominated by any department offering graduate courses. Awards of $100 will be announced in conjunction with Research Appreciation Week (April 8-12, 2024). See past award winners.
Procedure
The nominated student must submit an application in InfoReady Review. Faculty may nominate students by contacting them directly and encouraging them to prepare a proposal meeting the submission requirements. Nominating faculty must supply a nomination letter via the InfoReady Review submission system prior to the competition deadline. All materials must be received by 4:30 p.m. onMarch 8, 2024.
Submission Requirements
The application submission will be completed in InfoReady Review. Each submission must include the following:

Title of the research project

Student name, address, phone number, and email address

Abstract (limit: 250 words)

Theoretical relevance (limit: 500 words)

Methodology (limit: 250 words)

Findings (limit: 500 words)

Conclusions and discussion (limit: 500 words)

Nominating letter from student's supervising faculty member
