As assistant director, with more than 16 years of experience, Beth brings a depth and wide breadth of knowledge to the Research Institute in research administration from both pre- and post-award perspectives. Proposal development and management experience most relevant to IUP’s academic programming include National Institutes of Health, Health Resources and Services Administration, National Science Foundation, US Department of Defense, US Department of Agriculture, US Department of Education, US Geological Survey, and several state, local, and private foundation funding streams. Additionally, she brings expertise in process, procedure, and policy development as well as the ability to mobilize teams.
Beth holds a master’s degree in public administration and is a certified research administrator. In addition, she is an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators and the Society of Research Administrators International.
