Majed Zreiqat, professor, received his doctor of philosophy degree in occupational safety and health from West Virginia University with a minor in applied statistics. He has an MS in safety sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Jordan.
His areas of expertise are in ergonomics and human factors. He has research interest in the general area of work-related musculoskeletal disorders. His recent work mainly focuses on understanding the pathogenesis of cervical spine disorders.
Prior to the safety sciences field, he was in the manufacturing industry, working as a chemical and process engineer for 10 years.
He is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals.
