We've gathered together a diverse group of women to talk briefly about their organizations, what they're looking for in a volunteer, and the various volunteer opportunities available. Come and learn more about knitting baby dolls for children in Third World countries, offering real support to grieving families, sharing your talents at a local animal shelter, or giving the gift of companionship as a hospice volunteer.

Women's Health Issues-Taking Care of Yourself

This presentation will discuss three areas of women's health issues/topics. Majoris will have a discussion about breast health, common everyday products, and the environmental factors that are linked to breast cancer. We will also discuss the importance of yearly obstetrics exams and changes that occur in women as they age. Dorsch will talk about health-related factors that afflict women and how exercise and diet can help reduce or diminish them. Cowles will discuss women's safety tips and how to help someone who may be affected by violence or abuse.
