Profile:
Dana Hysock Witham regularly teaches courses on sociological practice, the sociology of gender, alcohol and drug abuse, deviance, and intimate partner violence. Her research interests include gender, violence against women, deviance, and social inequality. She currently serves the IUP Sociology Department as the chair of the Undergraduate Education Committee and Internship Coordinator. She is an active member of the Eastern Sociological Society and has served multiple two-year terms as the co-chair for the ESS Committee on the Status of Women.
