STEAMSHOP @ Robertshaw provides students and local community entrepreneurs with a space to produce objects and create experiences in a welcoming environment. Rehearse real-world professional skills such as model making, project rendering, and collaboration.
Learn the basics of digital fabrication, digital and additive manufacturing, electronics prototyping, CNC, woodworking, metalworking, and welding techniques. Then, combine them with entrepreneurial expertise to fuel innovation and economic growth.

During Open Hours, full access to certified equipment
- Monday to Friday, 4:00–8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
- Sunday, 3:00–8:00 p.m.
Restricted access to some equipment like laser cutters and the CNC.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Membership
Becoming a member gives you daily access to digital fabrication technology, equipment, and other tools in one collaborative space. Learn new skills through classes, discounted workshops, events, and support from other like-minded STEAMSHOP members.
CAD Design and Equipment Training
We regularly offer introduction classes in CAD training to give you the design-building skills needed for digital fabrication. Additionally, some of STEAMSHOP's digital manufacturing equipment requires specialized training before you can use them safely.
