The IUP Food Pantry and Help Center is located in Wallwork Hall, on the lower level, next to the courtyard area. Please stop by and visit our location. Our hours of operation are listed below.

Food insecurity is a reality across the country, so we hope that the Pantry will effect positive change for our IUP students who may need extra assistance. Our hope is to help reduce the stress that students may experience during their time at IUP.

The Food Pantry will be open for limited hours during Winter Break.

The Food Pantry will have limited hours over holidays, Winter and Spring breaks, and will be closed during the summer months.

The University College offers grab-n-go types of food, a food pantry, and school supplies. It is located in B01 Stabley Library. They can be reached at universitycollege-inquiry@iup.edu or 724-357-2375.

The Salvation Army, located at 635 Water St., Indiana, PA, offers the Sally's Choice Pantry. Those interested should make an appointment by calling 724-465-2530. Hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sally's Little Pantry, located outside of the building, offers food pick-up 24/7.

The Chevy Chase Community Center, located at 640 N. 5th St., Indiana, PA, offers free grab-and-go lunches from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additional, free items are also available, such as bread, baked goods, grocery items, dog and cat food, and kitty litter. You may reach the Center at 724-463-0674.

The Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP), located at 827 Water St., #101, Indiana, PA, provides emergency food supplies and other forms of help. They can be reached at 724-465-2657.

The Indiana Borough Food Bank, located at Trinity United Methodist Church at 398 Church St., Indiana, PA, runs on the second Tuesday of every month. Borough residents should arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. and should bring proof of address.

The White Township Food Bank, located in the Indiana Mall at 2334 Oakland Ave., Indiana, PA, runs on the second Tuesday of every month from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. This service is for White Township residents. Those interested should arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. and should bring proof of address.
