Mimi Benjamin and John Mueller, of the Department of Student Affairs in Higher Education, each presented an educational session at the annual American College Personnel Association convention in Nashville, Tennessee, the first week in March 2020.
Benjamin and SAHE graduate student Emily Ostrowski presented research findings in a session titled “Understanding What Students Really Know about Teamwork.” Mueller and SAHE graduate student Melisa Mora presented on Mueller's recently published monograph, Practice-to-Theory-to-Practice: A 35th Anniversary Re-Introduction.
In addition, Benjamin was recognized at an annual award reception as a 2020 Diamond Honoree. The ACPA Diamond Honoree program recognizes student affairs practitioners and faculty for their outstanding and sustained contributions to higher education, student affairs, and ACPA.
