Mimi Benjamin, professor in the Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) program, co-presented two sessions at the annual Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I) conference in Milwaukee, WI in late June. Along with co-authors Karen Kurotsuchi Inkelas (University of Virginia) and Jody Jessup-Anger (Marquette University), she presented “Creating, Maintaining, and Sustaining Living-Learning Communities,” sharing their recently published revised Best Practices Model for living-learning communities. Benjamin and Jessup-Anger also presented “Fostering Faculty-Student Engagement in Residential Spaces.”
ACUHO-I is the professional organization for global campus housing professionals (ACUHO-I). The annual conference typically draws close to 1,000 participants.
