First-Generation College Graduates Establish Scholarship at IUP for Students Studying Social Studies Education

Thomas and Virginia Schott of DuBois, first-generation college graduates and alumni of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Clarion University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest Clarion), respectively, have gifted IUP $25,000 to establish the Thomas and Virginia Schott Social Studies Scholarship at IUP.

Beaumont Foundation Honors IUP Alumnus with Continued Support for IUP Criminology And Criminal Justice Students

C. Edward Keller of Beaumont, TX, a 2019 Indiana University of Pennsylvania Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, has been honored by the Beaumont Foundation of America with an additional $60,000 gift for a scholarship at IUP named in Keller’s honor.

A community organization dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities has donated more than $75,000 to Indiana University of Pennsylvania to continue its legacy and to honor one of its long-time members, the late Donald B. Townsend of Indiana County.
