Pamela Sledge-Coley is a take-charge global leader, consistently recognized for cutting through complexities, generating groundbreaking business wins, and her people-first management approach which empowers teams to outperform. With 19 years of experience with ExxonMobil Corporation, Pamela most recently served as the Americas Market Sales manager for strategic global accounts, managing lubricant sales across six regions and 27 countries.
Pamela joined the ExxonMobil Corporation in 2003 as a chemicals market planner and was promoted to various functional positions across the organization, including North America chemicals sales manager -Olefins, lubricants area sales manager, Global IT financial controller, marketing manager, supply chain supervisor, auditor, and global controls manager. Her diverse assignments at ExxonMobil have afforded her the opportunity to become an effective general manager and leader.
Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Pamela spent four years as a sales rep at IBM. Her contributions at IBM garnered her several awards for demonstrating excellence in sales and customer service, including IBM Top Gun, Product Business Unit Executive, and Captain's Choice awards.
Pamela earned her bachelor of science in business administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her MBA degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where she was selected as a Committee of 200 Scholar. She attributes her career growth and success to the Committee of 200 Scholar program, which continues to provide Pamela with ongoing mentorship, support, and role models that demonstrate examples of extraordinary achievement.
Pamela participates in various organizations, and mentors and has functioned as a liaison to senior management through Exxon Mobil's Black Employee Success Team. She proudly served on the Alumni Board of Directors for Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Pamela is a charter member and past officer of both the Indiana University of Pennsylvania chapter and the Katy, Texas, chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
