The University Commencement Ceremony for undergraduate and graduate students will take place at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
A video live stream of all the ceremonies will be provided for additional family and friends to be part of the graduation event.

Arrive at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex two hours before the ceremony start time.

Doors open for family and friends one hour before the ceremony start time.

Arrive prepared, dressed in your regalia (cap, gown, tassel, hood, etc.).

Graduates will follow directional signage and use the dedicated, graduates-only entrance #21 located on the west/stadium side of the Kovalchick Complex. Upon arrival, you will be guided to the PNC Room.

Designated parking lots near the ceremonies and across the IUP campus will be used for commencement parking at no charge. See the IUP travel directions, campus parking, and shuttle maps for details.

A professional photography company will be on hand to take pictures. They will contact you by email within a few weeks following the ceremony.
Celebration Toast
Graduates, family, and friends are invited to attend a Commencement Celebration Toast for graduating students. Champagne and non-alcoholic sparkling cider will be available. IUP graduates will receive an IUP Alumni champagne flute, while supplies last. Hosted by the Office of Alumni and Friends.
