The University applies OSHA guidelines, along with legislative and various regulatory agencies to all safety practices and policies when addressing safety issues on campus. The Accident and Illness Prevention Program is designed to identify and correct potential accidents and unsafe acts which may take place on our campus. Safety training is a vital part of the prevention program.
Being a self-insured employer, we must maintain an effective accident and illness prevention program in order to maintain self-insure status.
