Biography
Todd Potts is a professor in the Department of Finance and Economics. He has been a member of the department since 2002. His fields of interest are time series econometrics, monetary economics, applied macroeconomics, and sports economics. Professor Potts teaches classes in Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, the Economics of Sports, Monetary Economics, Macroeconomic Analysis, Managerial Economics, and Quantitative Research Methods.
He has been published in the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, the Journal of Sports Economics, Applied Economics, Applied Economics Letters, and Energy Economics, among others. Prof. Potts provides meaningful contributions to both his department and college by co-chairing both the department Outcomes Assessment and Curriculum Committees and by serving as faculty advisor to the Student Managed Investment Portfolio (SMIP).
