Robert Stonebraker is a former professor in the Department of Economics. He received his PhD degree in economics from Princeton University and a BA degree in economics from the University of Maryland. Stonebraker was a member of the Department of Economics from 1971 to his retirement in 2001. His areas of expertise are Managerial Economics, Regulation of Industry, Industrial Organization, Monetary Economics, and Contemporary Economic Issues. He is currently associate professor of economics at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
