IUP's Theater-by-the-Grove will premiere a new play by Pittsburgh-based playwright, T.J. Young.
IUP’s Theater-by-the-Grove and Music Theater will present the musical Ordinary Days. Directed by Rob Gretta and music directed by Oliver Lo, the recorded performances will be streamed virtually on April 22–25, 2021.
The University Museum will present an exhibition at the Artists Hand Gallery in downtown Indiana beginning April 6 with art works from the museum’s collection which will be for sale.
The University Museum at IUP presents the IUP Art and Design Faculty Triennial 2021, scheduled to open Friday, April 2. This exhibition will also feature a project by the Sculpture Support System, a collaborative effort of faculty members Sharon Massey and Sean Derry and students studying three-dimensional art.
Collaborating one final time, the IUP Dance Theater Company and the IUP Percussion Ensemble will present “An Evening of Dance and Percussion: Legacy,” under the direction of Holly Boda-Sutton and Michael Kingan, on March 27 online and in Fisher Auditorium, located in the Performing Arts Center.
IUP’s Theater-by-the-Grove will continue its 2020–21 season with four virtual presentations of Topher Payne’s 2013 play Perfect Arrangement on March 5, 7, 11, and 13, including a Sunday matinee. Tickets will be available for purchase for live-streaming only.
