Free self-service Proof of Enrollment (enrollment verification) is now available to MyIUP users through the National Student Clearinghouse. Using the web enables you to print an enrollment verification immediately.
Enrollment Verification: Student Only
The verification is in a format that is widely accepted by health insurance, loan agencies, credit issuers, housing providers, employers, and others. It includes enrollment dates and indicates full- or part-time status.
When can you get an enrollment verification?
- Previous and current semesters are always available.
- Future spring, summer, and fall semesters are available two weeks before the term begins.
How do you do this?
It's free and very easy!
Open your web browser. Firefox is the only supported browser to provide enrollment verifications.
In the MyIUP portal:
- Log in to MyIUP and go to Discover.
- Search for "enrollment verification" and click the link on the Enrollment Verification card.
- Follow the prompts to request your verification.
If this does not meet your needs:
- An official or unofficial transcript will show “in progress” courses and can be used as a form of enrollment verification.
- Need to provide a third party with verification, but current enrollment is temporarily unavailable? Provide them with an enrollment verification explanation letter from IUP in the meantime.
Degree and Enrollment Verification: Third Party
Indiana University of Pennsylvania has contracted the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for all verification requests from third parties. All insurers, lenders, employers, and others who need to verify enrollment and/or degrees of IUP students must use the National Student Clearinghouse services.
