Getting involved is key to your success at IUP: research has shown that students who are more involved are more successful as college students.

Here are a few ways you can get involved on campus.

IUP Now

IUP Now is a hub for university news and events, achievement announcements, feature stories, and more. An email newsletter of the same name shares highlights with IUP students and employees.

The Pathfinder

Fraternity/Sorority Life

Fraternity/Sorority Life at IUP has a rich tradition of excellence dating back to 1875. That tradition continues with over 30 chapters today.

The IUP Greek community functions under a deferred recruitment schedule. In order to be eligible to participate in recruitment events and/or receive an invitation to join, a student must:

  • Be a matriculated, full-time undergraduate student
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
  • Have successfully earned at least 12 credits since graduating high school, while at IUP or another college or university

Watch for advertisements and posters on campus, the Penn, and the Beak, announcing recruitment or interest events for each chapter. Interfraternity Council, Multi-Cultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Panhellenic Association will also be sponsoring events throughout the semester.

For more information about specific chapters, visit CrimsonConnect.
