Overview: Jennifer Demchak is earning a MS Safety Science at IUP and will host the webinar. This webinar was developed to provide a definition of mental health in the workplace, discuss the influence of mental health on workplace safety, analyze the cost of mental health on the workplace, and recommend strategies to improve the mental health of the worker.
Jennifer Demchak is an Associate Professor in the Natural Sciences Department at Mansfield University and owns WATER, LLC., an environmental consulting company. She has a PhD in Soil Science from WVU. In the summer of 2021, she began a MS in Safety Science from IUP. She has been busy preparing a TEDx Talk on workplace safety, writing a paper on resilience, and teaching new courses at MU related to Safety Management.
