Network Shares and Services

Project Drive

The Project Directory Service provides "project" disk space for each individual course section being offered in the current academic semester.

Personal Web Service

All staff, faculty, and students have a personal website that they can design. Files can be uploaded to the site through the H: Drive in the wwwiup folder.

Network Management

IUP network management includes the planning, operation, and maintenance of the university's internet service.

Dispatch Share

The dispatch share contains files from several reporting services. When a user utilizes one of these services, a folder is created that only that user can access.



iforms

Banner Resources

Banner resources are used by faculty and staff of IUP to run reports for information.

IUP-Supported Smart Devices

The Technology Operations Team has developed a standard support model for IUP-owned mobile devices. This allows for an increased support level by technology staff across campus.

iwiki

iwiki is a collaborative service that is available to campus departments, organizations and committees. 


Admin Training Facilities

These facilities are available for faculty and staff to conduct small meetings, conference calls, or training programs.

Survey Services

Qualtrics is a survey program used by IUP for large survey distributions.

Services utilizing Scantron scan sheetIUP provides an optical-scanning survey service for anyone with a valid computing account. This service can be used when an online survey using Qualtrics is not practical.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds another layer of security, keeping your account secure even if your password is compromised. 

Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning

The IT Services Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery works within the framework of the IUP Business Continuity Plan, to respond to interruptions of essential business functions.

Telephone Services

IUP utilizes a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system.
