Chris is a 1988 summa cum laude graduate of IUP with a BS in Business Administration, majoring in accounting. After IUP, he received a MBA from Duquesne University, where he also received an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning.
For over 20 years, Chris has been the proud founder/owner of Kaminski and Co. Certified Public Accountants with offices in both Lower Burrell (his home town) and now Oakmont, Pa. Prior to that, he worked for a regional accounting firm, as assistant controller for the USX Credit Corporation, and as systems consultant for PPG Industries.
Chris serves as an special independent advisor to the Animal Protectors of Alle-Kiski Valley board of directors. Also, he is a member of the board of directors and treasurer of the Alle-Kiski Valley Habitat for Humanity. He is also a member of Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, where he served as chairperson of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Pittsburgh Chapter's Technology Committee, the PICPA's state Technology Committee, and the Educational Liaison Committee.
Chris is an avid golf hacker, enjoys endurance bicycling, is a certified spinning instructor and participates yearly in various MS Bike Tour fundraising events. Chris has been married to his wife, Beth, since 1990 (a fellow 1988 graduate of IUP).
