Christopher S. Welch, Esquire is a partner with the law firm of Budash & Welch. Mr. Welch was admitted to the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania after attending Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and receiving his juris doctor degree. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania as well as the United States District Court, Mr. Welch is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Indiana County Bar Association. He is also a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and the Federalist Society.
His practice areas include personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and small business development. Mr. Welch has represented individuals as well as Fortune 500 corporations. He currently serves as the solicitor for a number of municipalities.
Attorney Welch is active in the community, presently involved with the Indiana Midday Rotary, immediate past district chairman of the Boy Scouts of America, serving as the presiding justice at the Elks Lodge #931, a member of the Mason's Blue Lodge #313, involved with Indiana University of Pennsylvania serving on the Business Advisory Council and an instructor at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Community School of Music, as well as the drum sergeant with the Laurel Highlanders Pipes and Drums.
Mr. Welch resides in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Michele, daughter, Brittany, and step-daughter, Emily.
