Dan Sarver is a Managing Director at Confluence Advisors, a Pittsburgh-based investment bank specializing in business sale, capital raise and acquisition transactions.
He has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, financial analysis, and business strategy.
At Confluence Advisors, Dan plans, manages and oversees business transactions, including management buyouts, balance sheet restructurings/recapitalizations, shareholder transactions, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Dan formerly held positions at Mellon Financial Corporation (vice president in Capital Markets Group), UPMC Health System (director, Business Development) and Deloitte & Touche, LLP (senior consultant). Dan began his career in the finance organization with Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from IUP in 1990 and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business. He is a past board member and treasurer of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is a member of Burrell Scientific. He sits on the board of the Foundation for IUP and serves on the investment and finance committees. He is a certified public accountant.
Mr. Sarver lives in Gibsonia, Pa. with his wife Lisa ('91) and two children, who attend Pine Richland High School. In his spare time, Dan enjoys ice hockey, trail running and golf.
